Quality Program
WGPC recognizes the importance of quality in its products and services. Senior Management is committed to upholding the policies and objectives defined in our Management System Manual. We continually challenge ourselves to improve processes and practices so that, over time, WGPC will evolve into a manufacturer/supplier that represents the highest level of quality in our industry.
Quality Organization
Each of our seven manufacturing facilities has a dedicated Quality Manager and inspection staff. The facilities are further supported by the Corporate Quality Department which provides quality specialists for administration support of the management system and system applications. The organization is further supported by other Quality documents including:
- Quality Control Specifications that establish the training and qualification standards for all Quality Control Personnel
- Product traceability documents maintained by a cascading part numbering system with unique trace and serial numbers
- Quality Plans which are component specific and formulated to address specific quality, assembly, test or customer requirements
- Manufacturing process control via Syteline Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Specifications for special processes such as non-destructive testing, welding and cladding
- Quality Requirement Specifications to control documents and data related to the manufacture of equipment in a digital or hard copy format Continual Improvement Process (CIP) aimed at improving the performance of business processes in all areas of our operations.
